Reviews
The food is quite nice with generous portions. We ordered the tomato砂鍋, which was flavorful. The large portion can serves two people, while the medium is sufficient for one person. The staff was friendly, and we didn't experience long waits like some others mentioned. Overall, a great experience, but not particular impressed compared to other Asian food restaurant in Paris
I was on one week trip in Paris and my colleague told me about this place and I came everyday for lunch. It is really authentic and brought me home: 1) liangpi, the cold noodles, a must have in summer; 2) bun and biangbiang noodles are very good! I loved the biangbiang noodles and only had them in Xi’an and New York. 3) zhajiang noodles my husband had it since he doesn’t do spicy food (though they can adjust the level on all dishes) and he liked it too. Service was great and very friendly. The set up was cute. I like it was close to subway so easy to go back and forth for lunch. Will definitely come and visit when I am back in town. Also their bathroom is one of the cleanest among all Chinese restaurant I visited.
(Took photo below after I ate half way, looked way much better when serving)
The two reasons I keep returning at Keko Momo are the momos and the noodles.
The momos called rou jia mo (肉夹馍) in China are considered as the Chinese equivalent of western burgers. They are made of baijimo, a round flatbread stuffed with meat. I think Keko Momo pan fry their baijimos though they are supposed to be baked in a clay oven. Even pan fried, their baijimos are crispy and not oily.
The momos are filled with sliced and minced meat and vegetables. My favorite fillings are lamp and chitterlings. You can also get them with chicken, beef, duck or vegan.
Then comes the noodle dishes which come from various areas of China. They are all prepared with finesse and authenticity. The noodles come in many shapes (thin or flat) and made of different doughs (rice, wheat, or spinach).
The noodles are served boiled with soup or drained, stir-fried or in a hot pot with a spicy broth. They come with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality ingredients including vegetables and spices.
The noodles are freshly pulled and perfectly cooked. The flavors of the broths and sauces are rich and well-balanced, making every bite a delightful experience. My favorite noodle on the menu is the pork noodles.
Keko Momo decoration is quite charming and the atmosphere friendly though the the dinning area is a little cramped. Hopefully the staff is attentive and eager to cater to your needs, making your dining experience all the more enjoyable.
So if you’re a noodle lover, Keko Momo is a must-visit. I keep retuning either to dine in or for a take away momo. While the restaurant can get busy during peak hours, it’s well worth the wait.
Worst experience ever, never gonna go there again. Plus i talked to one delivery boy, he said he was waiting for his order more than 20minutes. He told them so many times ,still they didn't give him the order. He said if the order gets delayed, he will have to cycle much faster to deliver it otherwise it'll affect his delivery. God, they are prioritiesing the customer orderes and let the delivery boys wait. How can someone be so cruel...
The most cutest place ever. The food is absolutely amazing. The sevice was nice . It's super cozy. Perfect for date. The menu is very reasonable. Not at all expensive. Love the vide
Very tasty food especially the soup with noodles and beef which was delicious and the portion was more than enough especially for the price. Spices were right on the spot, not that spicy but maybe for some people it can be. The green tea mochi was tasty but small for the price and the wait for that was long.
For Chinese the restaurant is not about the atmosphere, it is about the taste. The Momo is tasted very good although it is modified a little bit. But the taste is still great! It makes me miss home!
Who would have guessed such amazing Chinese food in Paris. We had a wonderful meal here while passing through. Try the chinese "rou" burgers, these are just divine!
